This policy explains how Raju Interactive Oy handles personal information when you visit rajuinteractive.com or contact us about our company, products or support.
Our apps and games have their own privacy information. For the timer app, read the Timer McTimeyface privacy policy. This page also covers messages you choose to send us about that app.
Who is responsible?
Raju Interactive Oy, trading as Raju Interactive, is the controller for the processing described here.
Finland · Business ID 3633179-2Privacy and support: support@rajuinteractive.com
What information do we handle, and why?
- Website requests. Your browser provides technical information needed to deliver the website, such as an IP address, requested address, request time and browser information. Hosting and security logs may also contain the referring page, response status and information about suspicious requests. This supports delivery, fault diagnosis and protection against abuse.
- Messages and support. If you email us, we receive your email address, any name or contact details you provide, your message and attachments. This can include app, device or purchase details you choose to send. We use it to answer your enquiry, provide support and follow up on the matter.
- Legal requests and disputes. We may retain the relevant parts of correspondence to handle privacy requests, comply with applicable legal obligations, or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Technical information comes from your browser and our hosting services. Correspondence comes from you or someone contacting us on your behalf. Sending a message is voluntary, but we need enough information to understand and respond to your request. Please avoid sending sensitive information that is not needed for the enquiry.
Our reasons for using personal information
Our legal basis for operating and securing the website, responding to general enquiries and managing business correspondence is our legitimate interest in running a reliable business and communicating with people who contact us (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
Where processing is necessary to perform a contract with you, or take steps you request before entering one, we rely on Article 6(1)(b). Where we must respond to a legal obligation, such as a valid privacy-rights request, we rely on Article 6(1)(c). We use only the information needed for the relevant purpose.
Cookies and tracking
Our website pages do not set cookies or use browser storage. We have not added advertising trackers, analytics scripts, social-media embeds or externally hosted fonts.
Our hosting provider may use browser checks or security cookies to help distinguish ordinary visits from automated abuse. Technical processing by the hosting service is separate from the content of our pages. We do not use website information for advertising profiles or make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on you solely by automated means.
Service providers and international processing
We use Spaceship for website hosting and Spacemail for email. Spaceship, Inc. and its relevant service providers process technical information or correspondence as needed to deliver and secure those services. Access to company accounts is limited to authorised people. We do not sell personal information or provide it to advertisers.
Spaceship is a US-based provider. Service delivery or support may involve processing outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Its Data Processing Addendum includes EU Standard Contractual Clauses for applicable transfers. Contact us for information about the safeguards relevant to your data. Further provider information is available in Spaceship's privacy policy.
We may disclose relevant information when required by law or when necessary to obtain professional advice or handle a legal claim. If you follow a link to another website or app store, that service's own privacy information applies to your use of it.
How long information is kept
Correspondence: we keep information while handling your enquiry or an active support or business matter. Once resolved, we keep it only where needed for outstanding follow-up, an associated contractual obligation, a specific dispute or a legal retention requirement. We assess the purpose of keeping the correspondence and remove information when those reasons no longer apply.
Technical information: retention depends on the hosting service's log and security settings. The purpose is to identify abuse, diagnose faults and investigate incidents. If we retain particular log entries for an incident, we keep them only while needed for that investigation or a related legal claim. Copies in provider backups are subject to the provider's backup rotation and deletion procedures.
Some records may need to be kept to meet legal obligations or handle a claim even after a deletion request. Where this applies, we limit retention to the information and period needed for that purpose.
Protecting information
The website uses HTTPS to protect information in transit between your browser and the site. We use the access controls provided for our hosting and email accounts and limit use of correspondence to the people and providers who need it for the purposes described here.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access or correct your personal information, have it erased, restrict its use, receive a portable copy, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. These rights are subject to the conditions and exceptions in data protection law.
Send requests to support@rajuinteractive.com. Tell us which information or interaction your request concerns. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity before disclosing or changing personal data.
You can complain directly to Finland's Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman, or to the competent data protection authority in your country. More information about your rights is available from the Finnish authority.
Changes to this policy
We update this page when our practices change and show the date above. If a change requires additional information or consent, we provide that before using information for the new purpose.
